Natick covers a lot of ground, both geographically and in terms of housing variety. The town sits about 12 miles northwest of our Norwood shop, and each of its neighborhoods presents different HVAC needs. South Natick, with its tree-lined streets along the Charles River, is full of older historic homes that often have outdated heating systems and no central air. West Natick draws commuters who rely on the rail station and tend to live in a mix of updated colonials and condos. Wethersfield, a 1950s development of Campanelli ranch houses north of Route 9, remains popular with first-time buyers, and those slab-on-grade ranches have their own set of heating challenges since there's no basement for ductwork and mechanicals.

Downtown Natick has changed a lot in recent years, with the Center for Arts, a seasonal farmers market, and new restaurants joining the long-standing local shops along Route 135. The homes within walking distance of the common range from pre-war colonials to modern condos, and many of them need updated HVAC systems to match recent renovations. Up on Walnut Hill, Victorian-era houses line Walnut and Bacon Streets near the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and those homes require thoughtful system design to handle high ceilings, multiple floors, and old radiator setups.
